Team Led by Prof. Jen Received Green Tech Fund (HK$5.03 Million)
The project led by Professor Alex Jen Kwan-yue, Director of Hong Kong Institute for Clean Energy and Lee Shau Kee Chair Professor of Materials Science, received funding worth HK$5.03 million. His team will develop highly efficient printable perovskite solar cells (PSCs) to help Hong Kong become a leading city in developing technologies for solar energy.
Named Chair Professorship Scheme
Prof. Jen was awarded the first session of the named chair professorship scheme. The first-ever inauguration ceremony for Named Chair Professorships at City University of Hong Kong (CityU) on 11 October honored distinguished scholars for their outstanding achievements and paid tribute to our generous donors.
Research Grants Council Award
Congratulations to Yichao for being awarded the high recognition from RGC in this year's Hong Kong Postdoc Fellowship!
EXCITING FINDINGS AT JEN RESEARCH GROUP
Prof. Jen's research work was published on Nature Nanotech. This achievement is noted as a major technological breakthrough and innovatively proposed the “dilution effect” concept as the fundamental working mechanism of multiple-component organic solar cells (MC-OSC).
