Welcome to the Jen Group
Team Led by Prof. Jen Received Green Tech Fund (HK$5.03 Million)
The project led by Professor Alex Jen Kwan-yue, Director of Hong Kong Institute for Clean Energy and Lee Shau Kee Chair Professor of Materials Science, received funding worth HK$5.03 million. His team will develop highly efficient printable perovskite solar cells (PSCs) to help Hong Kong become a leading city in developing technologies for solar energy.
Named Chair Professorship Scheme
Prof. Jen was awarded the first session of the named chair professorship scheme. The first-ever inauguration ceremony for Named Chair Professorships at City University of Hong Kong (CityU) on 11 October honored distinguished scholars for their outstanding achievements and paid tribute to our generous donors.
NATURE ENERGY
Our insightful article on resolving stability issues on wide-bandgap perovskites to achieve high-performance perovskite-organic tandem solar cells is now online at Nature Energy entitled " Redox mediator-stabilized wide-bandgap perovskites for monolithic perovskite-organic tandem solar cells". Congratulations to Shengfan and Yichao!
SCIENCE ADVANCES
Our insightful article on a series of molecularly tailorable clusters as an interlayer that can simultaneously enhance the interaction with C60 and perovskite is now online at Science Advances entitled " Molecularly tailorable metal oxide clusters ensured robust interfacial connection in inverted perovskite solar cells". Congratulations to Fengzhu and Chaowei!
